Iran films 'The Signs', 'The Little Boy' awarded in Iraq

Al-Nahj International Film Festival has awarded Iranian cinema with two top awards during its 2017 edition organized in Karbala, Iraq.

The awards that were announced on April 5 included the First Award for ‘The Signs’ by Yaser Talebi and the Best Animation Award for ‘The Little Boy’ by Mona Shahi.

Al-Nahj International Film Festival is an NGO and a film festival specializes with the short films (Narrtive, Documentary, Animation) held by the Karbala satellite channels group in Iraq, established in 2014, its first term launched on March 25 – 2015.

The festival uses cinema as a tool to spread a humanitarian message which mission is to create an environment where people live happily with mutual respect and love.

The 2017 edition of Al-Nahj International Film Festival was organized from 1st to 5th April, 2017.
